About The Author
A little about myself:
I currently work for Nintendo of America in their Developer Support group, which provides technical assistance and specialized tools to developers, publishers, testers, and pretty much any non-Nintendo body that is involved in the production of applications that end up on our hardware.
Prior to that, I completed the MS (CompSci) course at DigiPen, which is a (previously the) leading school in teaching Game Programming, Art, and Design (with their priorities probably in about that order). I worked on two games while I was there, which were both admirable, I think, for the amount of knowledge about game design and practical programming experience I had going into it. They're both flawed, but manage to be fun in their own way.
Pressed to list my current particular interests in two minutes, I can come up with indie game development, games criticism, some aspects of journalism--in particular, interviews and personal stories much more than "oh there's a game coming out," and I'd be a poor programmer if I didn't say the tech.
I was going to say what I'm not interested in, but it was getting a little negative in here. We'll just say that I'm openminded, and that I'd be willing to give anything a try if someone could give me a decent reason.
